About the course

By the end of the course, you will be ready to act quickly and safely in any emergency. You will also receive a nationally recognised Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.

Entry Requirement And Assessment Procedure
You do not need previous experience to join the first aid at work course. It is open to anyone who wants to learn. However, you should be able to take part in practical activities, such as performing CPR on a manikin, kneeling on the floor, and moving a casualty into the recovery position.
Assessment is carried out throughout the course to make sure you can apply what you learn. It includes:

Short written or verbal questions – to check your understanding.

Certification

Your certificate shows that you have completed a first aid training program and are qualified to act as a designated first aider in the workplace.
